Still Waiting...
After my little UNC set-back I am now more anxious than ever to get some acceptance letters! Hawaii should be in the mail any day now, but I still have a few more weeks before I hear from UNC. The time is not passing fast enough!

FML...
Gotta love the ups and downs of applying to school. Last week I got a notification from UNC that they needed a transcript that was missing from my application. Normally they would just throw out an incomplete application, but they asked that I send in the missing information. This made me very hopeful that I would be accepted since they went to the trouble to give me a chance to send in the missing form. This made me think that they were really considering accepting me to their program.
On Monday I received an email that due to budget cuts, UNC would be cutting the second degree program to once a year, instead of twice a year. This means that I will not be going to North Carolina in May. They gave us two options: 1)I could defer my enrollment to January or 2)I could withdraw my application and receive a refund of my fees.
I am choosing to go ahead and apply for January. I had every reason to believe that I would get in last week, so I figured I better ride it out. I'm just disappointed that I would have to wait another 10 months to start.
Worst case scenario I go to Louisville, which is still a great option. I just hope that I can go to my #1 choice.
